I don't see that we're kidding ourselves with BMcD Phil - I agree with many of your points, and some of the footie I've witnessed in the last year (mostly as an armchairee) has been pretty shocking. What I don't yet know is if the players won't/can't do what McD wants, or whether he really is struggling (at best) to instill any form of passing game/plan into LUFC? I WANT him to succeed, but I'm on the fence as to i) whether he will and ii) whether he'll even be there long enough? and finally, given your eloquence, how about giving up the use of the word mongs? Knuckle-draggers, morons are fine, but mongs?? Offensive for no real purpose!
