I agree with you both. For most of the game, Rich, your description
corresponds with what I saw. And your bottom-line conclusion that we created
no clear chances is spot on. But we did have that possession and, especially
the last 20 minutes or so seemed enterprising and ambitious if ineffective.

But our performance is clearly the second most important thing on the day,
isn’t it? Personally I think the fit and proper test is a freaking joke.
Bates passed it, no? Frankly, look around English soccer…what percentage of
owners do you truly think ought to pass such a test? For that matter, look
around the world…how many people with the money to buy a big club (or even a
not-so-big club) did not get it by means that include activities that would
violate such a test? My operating assumption is that if you have that kind of
money you most certainly have some dead bodies floating in your wake.

We’ve had false dawns before and Cellino could certainly turn out to be another
one. But I, for one, am choosing to take this as good news fully aware of the
fact that I might be psychologically defrauding myself.

Disagree mate. I thought we were poor today and having a lot of possession
across the back and passing it square and backwards can make it deceiving. We
didn't have a decent chance in the whole game and Tonge's deflected shot which
was going wide was our only shot on target.

it was a toothless performance, ok loads of possession and yes, we showed at
times we can control a ball and pass it square but f*ck me that is the very
basic skills we require.

I thought Macca was our worse player today. Unless he's playing up front he's
useless.

I thought Brown and Tonge battled hard and were probably more effective than
Murphy and Austin but they're not gonna win you games.

So bring on the crook.

Has BMD being sacked or what ?

i hope so, nice man, shite manager.

time to hit the wine.

Well I for one, am happpy. Sure, we don't know what the future will bring
but after 10 years of shite its got to be better?!

He seems a passionate guy and speaks from the heart unlike the snake in the
grass Bates. Might be a bumpy ride but I think he's got Leeds' interest at
heart.

A decent performance today (over the last few), even tho no points again,
but they showed effort.

Am I being prremature in thinking the future might be bright?

Come on, WE ARE LEEDS!
