I'm still quite optimistic about tomorrow, having looked on the knuckle
draggers postings on various websites, they seem to be relying on their
so called "intimidating atmosphere" to unsettle our lads, rather than
any tactical nous their manager will employ.
Hopefully our new found ability to pass the ball to a team mate and not
just hoof it from back to front, will confuse them enough to succumb to
the hockadoodle's heroes... However it may just as easily turn to shit,
so until 3pm tomorrow I'm going to stay marginally more optimistic than
pessimistic.... New season, same old dreams..

It now turns out that Bianchi, the most outstanding of the new players
is banned tomorrow.
Add to that the fact that Sorenson has not yet signed (if he ever will)
and it could be that none of the new outfield players start tomorrow
other than maybe Doukara (though up to a point could count both Morison
and Cook as 'like a new signing' I suppose)
So it will be mainly down to the Hock working his magic and getting
last years players to perform !
Of course there is an outside chance that Ajose or Benedicic or Berardi
play from the start but the first two are both short of fitness and
Berardi seems to have been brought in as a utility squad player. At
least with the former 2 on the bench plus Smith (if he does not start)
we have players who could maybe change the game for us rather than just
swapping one oldish midfielder for another (that pre-supposes that
Ajose and Benedicic are any good - youtube videos of the both, in
Ajoses case his hat-trick for scum youth v Bolton youth and Benedicic a
great volley and some other little bits, do not count - see Da Costa
etc etc)
