With the plethora of players coming in at the moment I had a quick look at the number of players we seem to have in certain positions and I'm sure some must be got rid of soon.
Midfield: The squad contains 11 midfield players and not one winger, unless you count Ady White. Guaranteed to get the best out of Smith then! Forwards: We've actually got 9 of them. Unbelievable the amount of dead-wood there. I thought how does that compare with last year, numbers wise? So when I looked at total ins & outs, I was quite surprised how closely they matched-up. GK In: Silvestri, Taylor Out: Kenny, Ashdown FB: In: Berardi Out: Peltier, Drury CB: In: Bellusci, Cooper Out: Lees, Zaliukas MF: In Bianchi, Benedicic, Sloth Out: Green, Brown, Pugh Wing: In: - Out: Stewart Forwards: In: Sharp, Doukara, Ajose, Antenucci Out: McCormack, Varney, Diouf There are also 5 youngsters, who could be regarded as being full squad members now. Charlie Taylor, Killock, Dawson, Cook, Walters which must mean that another 4 or 5 of last year's squad players will be on their way eventually. I can't even begin too see a team taking shape among what remains, although Hock can't complain that he hasn't got enough choice. Surely all the players brought in can't be worse than we had last year. KOT.
