To me the worst thing about the sacking is the timing of it - after todays game
we have 2 weeks off - 2 weeks for the coach to get his methods and points
across, two weeks for the new players to get used to each other etc. Two weeks
when everything can be geared to training and practice with no game to 'get in
the way'
Since the season started it has been game, rest, game rest with no real time to
sort things out as new players have come in.
If Cellino thought the Hock had anything about him he should have allowed him
to stay for this fortnight, a fortnight after the window closes and so no new
players will be joining and let him see what he can do.
Instead we are going to be rudderless for most of this time with Redders
playing his players and formations etc in training but both could be way off
what the new man wants to do. The new man who will have no time to assess the
squad and tell Cellino where we are light or to bring in any of his favourites

So to me either Hockaday should have been sacked after Watford and the new man
in for today and the next two weeks to sort things, or Hock should still be in
a job until at least the Huddersfield game on the 30th
