Given our situation we aren't going to attract a top line experienced manager therefore almost anyone who gets linked with us will have some black marks on their CV OR be inexperienced or both, like Hockaday. Clarke got lots of plaudits in his first season and has a decent playing a coaching background before that. I assume he'll be able to negotiate a good contract that won’t allow MC to sack him without a big payout. I agree Redfern could be a good appointment, but I'm not sure how long he'd get from MC or indeed from the fans and if he failed I can't see that he'd be able to go back to the academy and that's where he's got a proven track record, so we'd lose out in that way as well. Howabout Hughton? He had the common sense to not play Becchio ;) ttfn Richard _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] John 'Grampa' Sykes Rest In Peace old lad 28th Oct 1938 - 12 Nov 2013 MARCHING ON TOGETHER
