Two things struck me from the limited highlights I've seen:-Silvestri shuld
stay on his line if there's a defender within 20 yards. That ball should have
been hoofed into touch!-Varney dived, and I had to watch it half a dozen times
before I was sure Byram's leg didn't make contact. However, for all the
positivbes of better football/should have won etc, we need to grind out 3 or 4
wins sometime soon.Whilst there's every chance this team will be more bonded
next season, going down would be rather careless :-(

What really pisses me off is when we get the basics wrong, there are
always going to be errant back passes and bad passes that lead to a
goal , but twice now Silvestre has not cleared a ball that was his to
clear. That kind of thing should be sorted out on the training ground.
As for Byram , I agree with Rich , he was at fault for the pen ,
leaving a leg out just invites a cheating twat to throw himself over
  it, he should know better.

I am trying not to be gloomy. I thought the football we did play
first half was years ahead of the dirge Leeds have played for the
last three/four years. There was a lot of quick, controlled football
under a lot of pressure (Blackburn were on us the whole time) in
tight positions with possession being retained. We did not have
players last year who could ever play like this.

I'd play him in Bianchi's position. Readers even brought Bellusci on
    to play there today.
