With 3 games unbeaten and no goals conceded other than penalties (we have had 3 given against us in consecutive games - one v soft, one a fair tackle and one outside the box) can we believe that we have turned the corner? We have dispensed with the diamond and have found a way of playing and formation(s) that suit us. The win last night should be a big boost to the confidence of the younger lads. Or like the victory over Derby is it another false dawn? We do need Morison to both play and play well if we go one up top. Also we are going to be without Bellusci one way or another - ban for the red/ very close to totting up ban / racism 9 game ban: now like many other fans I have a mixed view of him, he does some good things especailly on the ball and does give his all, but he is a liability at times and an accident waiting to happen. Will his enforced absence help or hinder us ? Can Pearce and Cooper play together, can Pearce play at all ? Or will Wootton get another chance at centre back? Is Murphys new found usefulness him fulfilling the promise he had at crewe or is it a flash in the pan and he will revert to type. Can we play 90 minutes with the tempo and high pressing that we did last night or will we keep being worn out after 60+ mins and spend the last half hour clinging on?So lots of questions to be answered in the next few weeks but I have never thought we would go down and yesterday, despite us getting a bit of luck (about time?) has given me some hope for the future (good hope or the hope that kills you - time will tell) So with no game this weekend we can bask in a victory over the League leaders and those of us who went can lord it smugly over those who chose not to attend Dave _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected]
