Has to be all about passing the FFP test for the summer ahead.

Phil Hay did an article last week I believe where he said the club were
expecting to pass FFP in the summer, but that current projections were for
a 7m loss, and FFP only allow for a 6m loss. If those numbers are right,
then there would be a 1m loss to bridge to enable us to deal freely in the
summer. Let's assume those figures were pre the sale of Pearce (say
250-300k fee and 200k saved in wages this season). Sell Austin for 500k and
with the wages saved on him too, that should get close to bridging the gap.
Club would also no doubt love to offload other players who will be out of
contract this summer (especially the ones there are more chances of there
being takers for - e.g. Tonge. Maybe loan a few more fringe ones out to
save a few k in wages too.

All other things being equal I would like us to hang on to Austin until the
summer, but financially I can see it makes complete sense as a sale.

Assume we don't have the right to terminate Benedicic's loan, as his
continues presence makes no financial sense.
