There was a very coherent piece on the Today programme on Radio Four this morning about FIFA carrying out a feasibility study on widening goals posts and crossbars by six inches, to liven up the game. It had Roy Hodgson, Robbie Savage and David Beckham in it (or more likely John Culshaw).
I thought it was real until my missus pointed out the date :-o Funniest one though was the story that Tesco are putting trampolines in the stores to assist people in picking items from the top shelves.
