FYI
Hi
My name is Paul Harrison, I am the published author of 33 books, including
a number
on Leeds United, including Keep Fighting - The Billy Bremner Story and The
Elland Rd
Encyclopedia and THE BLACK FLASH - THE ALBERT JOHANNESON STORY.
I am a Leeds United supporter.
As you may be aware, 1 May 2015 will mark the 50th anniversary since Leeds
(South African born) player, Albert Johanneson appeared for the club at Wembley
in the 1965 FA Cup Final and in doing so created history in being the first
black footballer to appear in a cup final there.
I got to know Albert extremely well in his post football days and recorded
his life in the above stated book, which has become a best seller. As part of
the anniversary commemorations, I am presenting unique and entertaining
(evening) talks and presentations on Albert's life in football across
Yorkshire, and Leeds. The presentations make for a highly entertaining event,
recapturing the era in Albert's own words.
The presentations have proved most popular elsewhere, they have sold out,
and would undoubtedly be well received by supporters of the club and football
fans alike. My Leeds itinerary runs between 27 April and 2 May 2015. The
events will be receive high profile media coverage in the national press and
will attract diverse audience.
Should you be interested please do let me know as soon as possible. I can
of course run a more than one event if required.
Kind regards
Paul
