Bournemouth beat several "bigger" clubs to Wilson ' signature so they clearly have some financial clout but to be fair However has done a brilliant job. I think they might be another Wigan, chair will bankroll them but ultimately lack of support will find them out.
This isn't sour grapes but whenever I watch them they don't half get looked after by referees. Having said that yes we took 6 points basically by playing superb over 90 minutes in both games. 2nd half down there and 1st half at our place. They are certainly not shite, good footballing team all very comfortable on the ball. Better than either Burnley or Leicester teams that went up last year and streets ahead of QPR. Nice to see Millwall relegated tonight. I have to declare an interest here... Bournemouth is my home town club, and have always looked for their result immediately after the Leeds result. I honestly never thought I would see the day when Bournemouth reached the PL. The club only just squeezed through FFP last round (apparently). So they ain't doing what they are doing on a shoestring. But it is a small club that has found a formula that works. A good manager, an owner prepared to invest (millions, not billions), a chairman prepared to take the rough with the smooth, and a fan base that although is small is very loyal (ref the club having to be bailed out by supporters a few years ago). I had hoped with MC coming in we were on a similar track, but it was all too much to hope for. But it does show what we could be if MC gets it right with someone as coach. Is that going to happen? My view is no. MC seems to want to be a football manager, and I am not sure he has the right skills.
