My thoughts after watching on TV from across the pond...
Doukara -Anyone who lacks the basic footballing skills of trapping and kicking
shouldn't be a professional footballer.
Wooton- Abysmal. How he thought he was making a legitimate tackle when giving
away the penalty blows my mind. Lost the game for us.
Cook-Silly boy...can be forgiven this time due to his age. But please
understand the laws of the game and the situation.
Wood-A big lumbering forward who just gets called for fouls is not my idea of a
good investment. Will need to improve greatly to convince me that buying him
was a good decision.
Berardi-Massive improvement over his performances last year. Looks like he
might actually be a footballer. Tidy with the ball and showed some pace.
Antenucci-Gave everything and lead by example. Our best player last night by a
country mile. I even got the impression he gave a shit about the shirt.
Everyone else was average...no better, no worse.
I think without Wooton's cock up and Cook's stupidity we would have strolled
the game.
