One thing that really gives me hope for this season and the future is the age
of the team.On Saturday apart from 30year old Bamba all thre rest are under 25,
many of them by a few years and therefore have the chance to improve. We also
have young players on the bench/squad.Botaka is only 22 so is another one who ,
if he comes, can get better.
IF, and I know it is a big IF, unless we do look like gaining promotion, we can
keep this team together then the future could be very bright indeed.
I just hope fans on waccoe (not sure how representative they are) give these
players a bit of leeway and accept that players especially younger ones and
ones in lower divisions are inconsistent. A bad game does not make a player
rubbish - he is still a good player who has had a bad game
Gutted to be going away and missing Brentford and Ipswich - even more so since
if I had looked at the fixture list I could have been back for both !I am going
to MK Dons to make up for it !
Finally I hate the idea of matches being switched to a Thursday night for Sky -
awful idea- but on this one occasion (Blackburn) it works in my favour, I am at
cub camp that weekend so was due to miss the game and now I can go, but not
really happy with it

actually went to a game this season (burnley).is that after one or two
seasons off?
Thanks for Dave, Rich and all those who report. What a godsend you are. I
talk about you as my friends. Because you are.

My amateur scores (inc shelf wed and derby on tv)

Silvereyes 7 Pretty good for this league I'd say.
Beradi 8 berated on list, has impressed, except for the occasional two
footed lunge that belongs more to the days of bitesyerlegs
Bamba 8+ impressed. Very good for this league i'd say.
Bellusci 6+ can play but doesn't convince
Taylor 7 pretty solid,
Cooper 7 seems OK (for this league)
Mowatt 5 oooops, what's happened. to be fair some decent stuff v burnley
but poor/inefffective both tv games
Cook 8+ real promise. technique, awareness attitude.
Byram 6 where has he gone? at RB I was convinced he'd make an even better
midfielder, but seems his confidence has vanished? He WAS a top (too good
for this league) player wasn't he?
Adeyemi 7 v burnley the reports said he did OK.  I liked the way he ran but
felt he was always wrong side of the play and gave too many easy balls
away. But since I'm seeing what the rest of you already saw in that first
game.
Cook 7 v burnley just a big lump, slow, an oil tanker of a turning circle,
only able to chest/flick/trap the ball uselessly into empty spaces. Since,
it seems he's winning head, a bit of a nuisance, chases causes...hopefully
he'll get early goals paynter morrison et all failed and become our next
joe jordan.
antenucci. 7+ I like him. a footballer.

Harte - 10 (in this league) not only had a great left peg, BUT brilliant
ability to create acres of space on the ball for himself. a rare skill.

He just hung up his boots if none had noticed.
