I have a different view to Verna, Windows 10 is good and will get better. But it's still new and if you are happy with Windows 8.1, why bother? The differences aren't enormous and there is always a risk it will banjax your system. It'll be a free update for some time yet so there is no rush, let first adopters like Verna iron out the bugs ;)
Having said that, I'm interested Verna, what are the benefits you've come across? ttfn Richard > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] > On Behalf Of {broken-address} Graham White > Sent: 02 October 2015 10:10 > To: Leeds List > Subject: [LU] Non-LU: Windows 10 advice needed. > > Hi All > I've got a fairly new desktop, currently running Windows 8.1, and I keep > getting pop-up messages suggesting I upgrade to Windows 10 for > free.
