Just watched this week's University Challenge on iplayer. Leeds United were mentioned in one of the questions!
Gotta be a good sign..............I have a sneaking suspicion that The Fat Controller is going to lead us to a glorious victory down at the Cottage. Didn't hear any mention of Fulham! Speaking of TV quiz programmes, I was catching up on Pointless a few weeks ago, and one of the optional topics in the final round was "Sport in Leeds". Infuriatingly (but not at all surprisingly) the twats who were on did not choose that.............and I have been in a state of agonised speculation ever since over what the actual questions would have been. My guess is : Name any foreign batsman who has scored a Test century at Headingley............Name any foreign player who has scored a Premier League goal at Elland Road........and some boring crap about those egg-chasers at the other Headingley.
