It was close to the dreaded BLACK weekend. First of all, you can't get much worse than losing 0-1 at home to the bottom of the table team managed by our former boss (and having our player-of-the-year so far red carded.)
Add in a jammy away win for the Unmentionables, Chelsea getting a hugely needed win, Derby winning, and Liverpool murdering the league leaders away.............it was a dreadful day. Summed up for me as I watched the ticker tape of scores and saw Derby going 1-0 up.......no sooner had the thought entered my head that Rotherham would probably score now, and they did. Luckily, when you are as miserable an old curmudgeon as I am, with so many teams on my hate list, there usually has to be a glimmer of light each weekend, and this time it came from Newcastle and Villa suffering morale-shattering defeats. Still............VERY glum this Sunday lunchtime. Off to see the Hong Kong ballet , so that should cheer me up a bit. _______________________________________________ Leedslist mailing list Info and options: http://mailman.greennet.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/leedslist To unsubscribe, email [email protected] MARCHING ON TOGETHER
