Personally I think Evans is doing a good job and may be the right man for us at
this time.Dawson looked very lightweight on his 2 (?) appearances and his non
progress, especially bearing in mind his injuries, is not down to Evans or
CellinoLike many young players he looked good for a while but for whatever
reason is never going to make it
I will give £100 to a charity of your choice if Dawson ever plays a League game
in the Premiership for any team!
In my opinion his is very unlikely to play even in the Championship - more
likely he will end up in the 4th Division or non league or drift out of the
game altogether
There are any number of things you can criticise Cellino for, and a few things
Evans is / has got wrong but the failure to give Dawson a new contract is not
one of them. He has been around the first team squad for a while but no manager
has picked him, not even Redfearn who had a hand in his development. He reminds
me of Dylan Kerr or Zac Thompson - around the fringes of the squad for years
and then disappear with only a couple of appearances under his belt
