At this point they put me through to a new dept "Cancelled Retentions" I got £45/mth for a year. I was thinking of ditching Sky, or at least phoning them up and threatening them with it unless they give me a discount. Trouble is the QOT is very much into Sky Atlantic Channel - Game of Thrones and other stuff, I would miss some of them too. Sky Atlantic is on Now TV, which would be my fallback if Sky didn't play ball on the price. However I don't want to risk it, if it is not reliable or poor quality.
