We have cable at home - recently bought out by Virgin. I pay for all the sports, but no movies because nobody ever watched them.
However I pretty much download everything other than sports that we watch. It is then served to all in the household (or away from home even) by my Plex Media Server. My son watches all sorts of sports on his laptop, streaming them from wherever he can find them. Which makes me question why I pay for them on my cable at all...
