Was watching Room 101 on TV and frank Skinner used the word ANTICIPOINTMENT
If ever a single word summed up following football, especially a team that has
pretty much always underachieved as we have from Revie onwards, it is
'anticipointment'
- OK we don't often, if ever these days, actually excitedly anticipate the
game but I think a number of my match reports could start with this word

promoted product, event, film, etc, and then being disappointed when it fails
to meet the expectations generated by this promotion.
