That is the most annoying thing of all, the fact that so many of these cases
are total no-hopersBates was the same especailly re the 15 point deduction -
he had agreed it in advance and chosen it instead of the option of no point
deduction but start a league lower and he had , in writing, agreed that he
would and could not appeal !!
Without knowing the details it does seem fairly clear that we are totally wrong
in our dealing with Macron and Cellino is in breach of contract - that seems
accepted by him and the club, so that will be another contested court case that
we lose (with all the attendant costs etc)
Then to make things even worse Pearson (the fans 'blue eyed boy') and the other
club representative were basically called liars by the judge. This has the
knock on effect that anyone who may be interested in buying the club will most
likely not take it any further since they cannot trust the vendor and their
(his?) representative. Which is how Cellino and GFH bought the club, no-one
else trusted Bates !
Thankfully with my 20yr ST renewal is not an issue, but for many, there does
seem a feeling of 'we have had enough' and I think our sales will be at an all
time low. My son came back after a two year hiatus (due to getting married and
setting up his own business) mainly due to me buying him his ST as a 30th
birthday present. He is certainly wondering whether to renew - his interest
level is low and he has a total lack of optimism for next season or the one
after or the one after.....

Yep, and seemed, in advance, the most nailed on case you could imagine, which
again makes you question the judgement of certain individuals. As well as the
financials, Cellino's comments about women once again links the club we love
with idiotic beliefs! The sooner Cellino leaves the better on all fronts!
