>Rich,

>don't agree about Lees mate, he was a car crash at Leeds and reminder he
has not been a regular for Wednesday lately. When I >have watched him he
still does not boss his opponent and ball watches.

Bloody hell Phill, you've only gone and made me go onto the wendies website,
hope you're happy, I feel all dirty. According to that he's played 36
games in the league this season and 44 last. They've let in substantially
less goals than we have (OK can't all be down to him). I've only seen him
in the 2 playoff and I think one of the games against Leeds and he's looked
pretty steady to me and certainly a better CH than Belusci and far less
prone to cock ups than Samba. Wonder if anyone on here knows any wendies
fans and could ask them, using words of 1 syllable obviously.

>As for Forestieri, to be fair to MC (I know its hard) he bid for him and it
appears that Watford accepted it but the player was >using us to get the
best deal he could. The player has said himself he didnt choose Wednesday
over us because when he >realised he was going our bid had been withdrawn.
Good Championship player but Watford soon got rid of him when >prompted and
based on all 90 minutes last night I think it was a sound decision.

He was quiet last night true, but they were playing a less attacking
formation. He was much better on Friday night, some of his touches and
runs were brilliant and although Brighton didn't have their first string CH
partnership, they had real problems with him. Even if he is a Championship
player, that's what we need to get us out. FWIW my recollection is that MC
said he'd ended our interest as he didn't have the right mentality! he's
scored 15 this season.

>If Wednesday go up they basically need 11 new players in my view.

that, I agree with :) Apart from Forestieri (1st leg) and Wallace they all
looked pretty ordinary.
