The obvious is centre half - with Cooper injured and Bellusci (and Wootton)
gone - we have had to resort to playing Diagourara as a make shift centre back
in the friendliesThe injury to Berardi (we do have Coyle) also led to Purver
(?) a midfielder playing as right back
Hopefully Ronaldo Vierra can be the new Cook but we are still probably one
short in centre midfield
Finally - not sure how much he is needed with Dallas, Botaka, Sakho and Roofe
all able to play there- we are still (seems to have been on the radar for 2
years now) after the winger Limbombe ?
Having said that Hay and other reports, do give some cause for optimism (with
usual provisos - quality of opposition and even more the fact that they are pre
season friendlies
Looking forward more to Atalanta game now and seeing (hopefully) Sakho, Roofe,
Antonsson and a re-juvented Botaka - all of whom seem to be exciting players,
something we have lacked since Gradel / Beckford

 Subject: [LU] Phil Hay comment

I've just read Phil Hay's Dublin Tour Diary in the YEP [woke up too early,
bored....).

There is the somewhat cryptic comment "[the Leeds'] squad evidently needs
strengthening"

Unless I've missed summat, there is nowt "evident" in the 2 match reports,
so, can anyone say if we have a specific weakness somewhere in the squad,
or if the comment is just generally disparaging about the overall quality?

Damian
