anyone go ?
I'm slightly ashamed to say that I made a decision not to go after paying £33
for the Town debacle. I did listen on Radio Leeds and they seemed to think the
team selection , tactics and performance were much improved.
As for Rob Green , yes he looks a bit small and old to me but last night he
apparently saved the game for us with a brilliant double save to stop them
taking the lead. They also said Jansson won everything in the air and seems to
have temporarily resolved our set piece weakness. Both goals in the last 2
games have come from long range shots where the man should have been closed
down.
On to Cardiff. Is it on Sky ?

A narrow home victory against a team at the bottom can hardly be considered a
turning point, but nonetheless a welcome victory.
From the reports during the game, it sounded like Leeds bossed the first hour,
and then relaxed a bit in a bad way after the first goal.

It is obviously too early to say, but has Monk finally hit on a system which he
can work with?
4-2-3-1, becoming 4-1-4-1 to go for it a bit, with 4-4-2 up his sleeve for when
we are desperate for a goal.
Perhaps someone who was there can confirm or deny that last night was more
encouraging.

It sounds as though Green is not the long term answer in goal.  We don't have a
lot of options in the back 4, but that is not the biggest problem IMO.
Finding the right partner for Bridcutt seems to be an issue, and he does have
about 6 to choose from there.
Sacko on one wing with Roofe or Dallas on the other.
Hernandez or Mowatt in the No 10 role.
Choice between Wood & Antonnson up front, with one replacing the other after an
hour or so, or joining him if need be.

There is probably even a place for Doukara in the squad as 3rd choice C Forward.

KOT.
