Am I the only one who thought it telling that Brighton's whole focus was to put
balls around Rob Green at any opportunity because of his flapping? I blame him
for both goals, he simply will not come and deal with balls anywhere near the 6
yard box.

I suggest that Monk either gives Silvestri a chance or brings in an extra
keeper in January. Green was on the floor before either penalty takers touched
the ball on Friday, he is useless.

I realise we are still a project and this is my only criticism of Monk. If
Green remains in goal rest of the season I cannot see us making the play-offs.

Agreed, John, We made a decent fist of it in the second half even with 10
men and the 2nd penalty was soft. Fans in good voice throughout the match
and deservedly cheered the team off at the end. I was there in feb when we
were 4 down by half time, even this performance was light years ahead, we
passed the ball well, got into them throughout and made it hard for them.
5th place flatters us, but this is a long term project and we are still
without 3 of our best players.

Best of all, 2000 Leeds fans signing a Wham! song for 20 minutes :)
