For some reason my wife had a picture of David Batty appear on her phone and she said to me "I have seen him score, have'nt I, and he did not do that often" I said," yes you were there v Man City when he scored, and he only got 3, 2 against City and one v Notts County" However looking it up he actually got 4 goals - who was the other against and can anyone describe it ? I saw him score v City away with a long range shot before we knew he did not score goals, then he got the next again v City from edge of 6 yd box that sent the fans mental, then the Notts County one where he ran, unchallenged from the half way line
