I was at the game.
Firstly Revie was not too bothered about a long European run that season,
and the first leg was won so comfortably away that he thought a greatly
reduced team would at least get a draw at home. Putting the young kid in
goal was the big mistake. He let in four in a disastrous first half and his
confidence was completely destroyed. Tragic for him and for his career.
