Agree it was an awful day and (like the team ?) I really cannot be bothered
After the euphoria of the last minute equaliser on Friday this was down to
earth with a bump and how
From pretty much first to last minute we were poor. All eleven (OK maybe ten
since Green was OK) decided that today was the day they would all forget how to
play football
We were shocking - we did not create a real chance of note in the whole
90minutes. Wolves on the other hand, scored one, missed another sitter and
forced Green into a few good saves.
We should have had one . maybe two, penalties - one in the first half when from
a corner Bartley was pushed two handed in the back but the officiails missed it
, then a decent shout for handball was turned down second half.
This game really showed us at our worst and showed that if Plan A does not work
we have no Plan B. Plan A is basically keep it solid at the back and then nick
a goal through Wood. Today we made the mistake of going a goal down and really
did not know what to do.
TO sum it all up Pontus even failed to get the booking we needed - not sure if
two cheats make an honest decision, but clearly the ref knew what was going on
and would not get his yellow card out, this despite Pontus pushing someone and
then kicking the ball away, this was followed minutes later by him pushing the
Wolves player into touch, then running back with the ball in his hand, swearing
at the ref and then backheeling the ball as hard as he could past the ref. No
ref ever in the history of football would have kept his yellow card in his
pocket, but this one knew the score and let it all go. Awful for us

All the other results went against us and now it is sort of out of our hands
(with Fulham having to play Wednesday then technically if we win all 3 we will
still go up, but that needs fulham and / or Wednesday to drop points,
thankfully one or both of them have to do so given the fixtures)
I feel gutted and once again let down by my team - don't know what else to say
except we have 3 games left to put todays result and performance to rights
So pissed offf it is untrue

After watching us for 42 years you would think I would be used to it ..........

A pretty glum day with no discernable redeeming features.

Can't be ars*d to do a match report. Just generally awful with an overwhelming
sense of doom and foreboding overhanging the occasion.

Lost at home. Everyone else won.
Welcome back the Leeds United we know and love.
Look as if you can and make sure you don't.
