Ey up Mike, I know it’s all light-hearted wishful thinking but these Tax Charges won’t be cleared up for the play offs surely. These cases, I should imagine it will drag on and on for some considerable time. I suppose it will end up in the high courts and that could take a year or so, maybe longer. They will end up with a mighty big fine, a sum that is considerably bigger than what they have “allegedly" fiddled,otherwise it would have been a waste of costly time investigating and charging them. They reckon there were 180 tax people involved in the two raids on Newcastle and West Ham and that sort of exercise isn’t cheap……………. but what do I know…….
