That is 3 in 2 for both Dallas and Erwin - against v lowly opposition and in a
friendly BUT if Erwin can do it in more often then perhaps he could be the back
up for Woo depending on who else we buy. He was Oldhams top scorer last season
and had a good end to the campaign when he was being played up front
I do love Sacko's tweet -" Proud to say i finally SQUARED IT today"This is
supposed to have come from a lot of fans tweeting him last season when he
failed to pass to an unmarked Wood (iirc) - he did not know what the word
'squared' meant in football terms !
Supposedly he squared it twice - one for a goal and one that was well defended.
I quite like Sacko, but do understand why others call him 'sack'o'shit' since
his final ball is so often lacking. IF, and I ac------cept it is a big IF, he
can get his head up and pick out a final pass or shot then I think we could
have a real player on our hands. His pace will always cause problems and he
does work hard and seem to want to learn and improve.
We are expecting Saiz to sign on Monday (and maybe one other) - to me both him
and the other lad we are linked with - Alioski - look great on youtube (as did
Botaka, Adryan, Nunez and one or two others) but the level they are playing at
is not great. I suppose, as with all players, it will be a case of 'wait and
see'
We still need Bartley or similar , another back up CH and a left back at the
very least
