not particularly - they were happy to see us try and play it out which we
failed miserably to do in the first half.
I too don't like having a keeper who can't kick or has been instructed that he
should always look for the short ball. Our defenders are not good enough on the
ball or good enough passers to play that sort of style and I'm sure team will
get wise to it (like Preston did).

Did Fulham try to close down all the short-range options on goal-kicks and
when the keeper had the ball? If so, how did he and the team cope? Preston
worked out how to do that after the first 20 mins on Saturday, and it
disrupted Leeds completely, until their sending off made a pressing-game too
risky.
I've got a bit of a bee in my bonnet about having a keeper that can't kick.
