after a bright start that has been painful watching and I think you could go
right through the team and highlight players who are just not at it today but I
think out of all the players that are contributing to our downfall at the
moment I think the keeper is the main one. There's absolutely no confidence
from him on crosses, corners, free-kicks and as a result we look nervous. Even
when he gets a shot to save he's parrying and dithering. I'd put Lonerghan on
now.
The other player is O'Kane - at least Philips as tried to get on the ball so
his slow, unintelligent game is for all to see. O'Kane has done nothing -
absolutely nothing and that free-kick at the end of the half just summed him
up. It also summed up our game as well. There's a minute on the clock to
half-time, we're 2-0 down and we've got a free kick on the half way line. What
do we do ? Play it back 10 yards , then forwards 10 yards to O'kane who then
loses it. If that direction is from the manager I think he needs to reflect on
what he's trying to achieve.
Other points:
Lasogga too isolated but I'm not sure he's that good tbh.
Roofe showing as always he's lightweight for this division.
Beradi seeing that being a right footed left back against a decent left winger
is hard.
Pennington and Jansson as good as I think they both are a new partnership and I
don't think it's working at the mo.
Very disappointing.
I think we can get back into it but I can't see us not conceding again with the
big lumps they have front and our keeper dithering like shit on his line.
