oh well, we can now concentrate on the league now.
I think overall, given the 10 changes and the line up it wasn't a bad
performance against a Leicester B-team. But ultimately I think highlighted a
few players that are not doing enough to be considered for first XI.
Scores against Leicester B-team:
Wieldwald - 2. Shite.
Anita - 6. I like him , I think in the championship he should play. Consistent
performer and doesn't make too many mistakes. He was up against a lot of pace
tonight so credit to him.
Borthwick-Wankstain - 6. I thought that was the best I've seen him since his
debut. He has potential, shame he got injured.
Jansson - 5. I don't like his new black boots - make him look like a clogger.
He was dodgy tonight.
Shaugnessy - 6. I like the look of him , he has bags of potential
Philips - 5. Saw lots of the ball, a couple of good challenges but apart from
that he was shit. Cross field ball after cross field ball but none reached
their target. He's totally average.
Kiltch - 5. I think he's got potential and is looking quicker and sharper. I'd
say he's got more ability than Philips but he doesn't influence games.
Cibicki - 1. Lightweight waster. Need to see him start in a championship match
before writing him off completely but on displays like this he looks brittle.
He must be 4 stone.
Hernandez - 7. Lively, good goal and ran himself into the ground. Just the
usual frustrating loose ball now and again.
Roofe - 3. I thought he started fairly lively but then he delivered the same
old shite. Weak, one-paced and unable to beat his man. I think he can float
around the squad but he aint good enough.
Grot - 5. I thought his first 45 minutes showed that he has potential. I think
a goal in the championship would change him totally and although he's very raw
I think he could push on but I'm not sure he'll get the minutes. His second
half performance was really shocking - I think he was fucked and was amazed
that he was allowed to struggle on through for 94 mins. Strange.
Subs:
Ayling - thought he made a difference
Sacko Shite - he was shite
Vierra - came on and tried to influence the game but Leicester had their A team
on by then.
Big game on Friday.
I'd go with
LonerganAyling Jansson Pennington Anita VierraO'Kane HernandezSaizLasogga

I think he's been doing a great job tonight running from box to box. Might not
be the finished article, by any stretch of the imagination, he is so flexible -
the new Lee Bowyer?

Strange how phillips is the only one to keep his place. Looks like he walks on
water.
