So half way through now and we have played everyone oncewe have 39 points - w12, d3, L8 - so if we replicate this we will have 78 points Last season we got 75 pts (W22,D9,L15) So very similar with this season just shading it (due to less draws so far) HOWEVER - Fulham who came 6th and took the last play off place got 80 pts so it is unclear if 78 will be enough (it is most years by all accounts) Looking forward apart from Wolves (on target to get 108 pts v Newcastles 94 last year) -there is no-one who we have played who you think we have little chance of beating None of the home defeats have seen us outclassed and the away disasters (Cardiff & Sheff wed ) have come due to goalkeeping or other mistakes (Cardiff was Klitch and Cooper) and there is no reason we cannot reverse those results at home So it is with cautious optimism that I look forward to the rest of the season - whatever the truth about Cibicki yesterday (excellent or dog shit- or average in my opinion) he is almost like a new signing coming into the team from nowhere. Lassogga looked a lot meaner and leaner yesterday and that can only be good, and we now know that Ekuban if we can keep him fit is decent at this level.
