Wait, what? Do you think that Orta gets his little bag out and checks the
players over himself? Of course not, we have highly paid medical staff who do
that. Players do get injured after they arrive, but IF the shin damage was
prexisting then it's their fault. This anti-Orta stuff is bordering on the
insane, but that's Twitter for you. Let's see if Saiz returns to his
pre-spitting form if the twitterati start lauding Orta as a genius!

Rich,

I agree. This is another Victor Orta masterstroke. How many players has he
brought into the club who were either crocked when they arrived, or got injured
as soon as they started playing? I can think of Roberts, Pennington and Ekuban
just off the top of my head (plus De Bock missed the first game after he signed
because he was allowed to return to Belgium for "personal reasons"). Something
is very fishy here. For a start, some very hard questions need to be asked of
Orta and the staff who conduct the medicals. It seems ridiculous to sign a
player for 2.5 million quid in the winter break on the basis that he is going
to have an immediate impact on our fading promotion hopes, and then tell the
supporters that sorry, he's crocked instead.

Cheers!

Sean

SO what do we think about this Tyler Roberts fella ? He arrives stating he is
fit then the club say he won't be picked because he has a slight knock. Then it
turns out he's cracked his shin in training and will be out for an 'extended
period'. On Twitter lots of people saying West Brom knew he wasn't fit and
that's why they've got rid. Something not right. Good job we've got a surplus
of good strikers ...Roofe and Cibicki From: Alec McQueen
