Yeah just seen the 8 mins of 'highlights' on Sky and BPF is at fault for the
3rd but had a decent game overal. My memory was right in that we did only have
the shot from Berardi (never going in) worthy of being shown - the rest was all
WolvesI had forgotten about their shot against the bar at 2 -0
Also given that it was straight in front of us we were not sure what had
happened with the glaring miss early on - we could not tell if BPF had saved it
or , as indeed was the case, the lad just totally missed it
Looking at the highlights - in addition to the 3 goals ,they hit the bar
(twice albeit one ended in the 2nd goal anyway), missed two easy chances and
BPF pulled off two or three good saves / blocks, so it could have been a lot
worse in terms of the scoreline.
I do think Wolves are as good as any Championship team I have ever seenFor us
though it is another season that started so well and raised expectation levels
but now has just fizzled out - last season lasted longer but again went from
definite play offs to self implosion. We are back to the drawing board again
and have a need for a total overhaul of playing staff BUT Radz is talking about
keeping the same players but getting rid of a few to bring numbers down and
replacing them with lads from the u23s.
Heck has said he will not give out first team places willy nilly they "have to
be earned" but he has 10 games to find out who can make it . Eoghen Stokes
made some telling remarks when he described our u23s as 'fake football' and
that he learned nothing from it and went backwards instead of progressing. We
have been led to believe that some of the u23 players we have brought in are
'stars in the making' having come from good teams and some having been paid
for, so we need to find out if they are any good and there is only one way of
finding that out

Deffo a keeper error for the 3rd Dave he should have stayed on his line.
Given the circumstances though I think we have say he did ok however my overall
impression wasn't that we'd found a new Nigel Martyn (or even Paul Robinson)

Well that is the season over and out with a whimper not a bang
We were well and truly outclassed in the absolutely 'last chance saloon'- we
have known for a while that the play offs were out of our reach but last night
was the final nail in the coffin, no "we still have 30 points to play
