Fair points Dave. Going to be a nail biting 2 months! Re the Alioski song, it was written by a teacher at King James’s in Knaresborough - maybe that’s who you sit near? It is funny (first time)!
Read loads of moaning about yesterday from Leeds fans re Kiko (def a red card) - selective blindness. I did think Baldock could easily have had 2 yellows for his ‘looseners’, and Sharp’s sneakiness in standing on Pontus’s achilles and the backwards head but are all part of the little c*nts armoury - if it had been Ian Baird doing it we’d have loved it. Glad he didn’t score though. Bamford got plenty of treatment early on, but I thought he was excellent in the first half. Sheffield were reasonably organised, but we lost because we didn’t take the chances we created - just got to hope that teams they play going forward have better finishers than ours. Why does Jansson constantly play the wounded soldier - is he knackered and looking for a rest mid game, or giving everyone else a rest? Not talking about his final knock, but before. Hey ho, 8 games - anything could happen! > On 17 Mar 2019, at 09:44, Ted <[email protected]> wrote: > > That about sums it up perfectly Dave. > > Got to say - results don't usually get to me (I don't go home and kick the > dog etc) but that one has left me feeling really disappointed. > > Oh well, never say never, MOT. > > >> On Sun, 17 Mar 2019, 09:14 [email protected], <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Well now I know why they call them the Blades - they have put a dagger >> right in our hearts and stabbed us in the back with such a (according to >> their own boss) 'smash and grab victory' >> We were however, once again, our own worse enemy.
