The original LeedsList was one of my Eureka moments as well as Usenet newsgroups back in late-1990 and DEC Notes in mid-1991. I discovered the original [email protected] via rec.sport.soccer in January 1993, just before the World Wide Web took off later that year in DEC/Digital. Quite a long time ago...
