Agree Dave, that was a very bad loss and a very poor performance. Maybe worst
of the season? Think Bielsa was outcoached there, we just could get nothing
going. They let our defence have the ball and shut down everything from there.
No impetus today very disappointing.

Need Birmingham to play like that v Sheff U and get same result and for us to
beat Preston just like Sheffield have
If we are not second again by next Saturday I think it is game over for autos -
as it stands we are one point behind but with a much worse goal difference -
(6)
Bamford got to take a lot of the blame today - hit post when should score to
put us in front and possible victory and then had 2 great chances to equalise
and didn't
Kiko kept us in it with 2 or 3 saves but what pisses me off was the effort and
commitment they showed with a packed defence - you just know they will be
'tired' v Sheff U
I remember after 16 (?) games not one team had won the game following playing
us and we just hope Brum do not fall into that category
Hopefully Preston will feel their season is as good as over after defeat today
but no doubt they will give the proverbial 110% since it is against us and they
will view it as their last chance of making play offs (by all accounts they
missed 2 or 3 very good chances today !)
Feeling very down today - really hoped today would go our way - win for us,
defeat for Sheffield , to give us breathing space - not over just yet but could
be after midweek games
Dave
