Jeez, I'm not sure I'm going to survive the next few weeks. As if watching the Leeds games isn't hard enough on the heart, picture this scenario:
We are watching the Sheff - Millwall game on a really sticky stream........SU 1-0 up in last few minutes...........a Mill player directs a header towards the top corner which is somehow kept out by a defender on the line.........just as the commentator says "What a brilliant piece of defending", the stream freezes.........I say to my wife "Hey that was a handball wasn't it?...........picture remains frozen for an agonising time........finally the stream restarts and we discover that yes it was a handball, red card and penalty............YES!...........penalty is struck...........and the bloody stream freezes again as the ball is half way towards the goal...........the keeper is frozen diving to his right and the ball seems to be going just over his dive and into the net.........for seemingly ages, we speculate about whether he has scored or not..........FINALLY, the action continues, and the bloody ball does indeed beat the keeper's dive, but then hits the bar!...........aaargh!
