So as we all know by now, 10 pts from the last four games will do it
irrespective of results elsewhereSo are we capable of getting them (YES) but
will we (WHO KNOWS)
Looking at the games they are all winnable on paper but none will be easy
Wigan is the easiest on paper - a team that have only won once away all season
and are bottom of the away league - so foregone conclusion ? Well not for those
of us who remember the last promotion from the second division - Barnsley (also
next to last game ?) - they had not won away all season so worse than Wigan ,
we were unbeaten at home, so better than this season  then the football gods
took over and goals from Archdeacon and Bishop meant we lost !
Brentford on the other hand are amazingly 4th in the home league so that will
be very hard, but they have lost 4 at home so can be beaten
Villa - a good side , top of the form table and maybe needing points to stay in
play offs - or even just want to keep their momentum
Ipswich - already relegated so another 'easy' one on paper BUT how often do
relegated teams have  a too little too late flurry of good results ? Plus they
will be very relaxed whereas we will be on shredded nerves if we need point(s)
So we can do it but it is a long way from a foregone conclusion
In an ideal world Sheff U will lose early on Friday and we can beat WIgan and
take a great leap forwards
Dave
