I have seen some pathetic footballers in my time, but for sheer jessiness, the 22 on the pitch today take some beating.
Bamford - of course he didn’t get elbowed - he never gets close to anything! Jansson - what a fanny. The Villa bloke having a kip pre our goal - ran into back of Cooper, no foul! Then 22 pansies mincing around in a ‘ladies excuse me’! John Terry acting ‘all offended’, and Dean Smith with his ‘it’s just not fair’ pout! FFS - utterly laughable, and complete pantomime. Premiership referee? God help us! Tyler Roberts - deserved to win it - a great second half. Up front - shockingly poor - time and time again we cannot hit an 8 yard wide target! A few chances near the end can’t mask what our number 1 problem is. Question is will the EFL find a way of suspending Bamford for getting their bloke sent off for nothing? I nearly laughed my cock off when the Sky commentator started talking about morals! Positives - we competed, although I suspect we could have played all day without scoring (without a helping hand). Exciting in a farcical way! Negatives - Bamford! Forward play in general! Bizarrely, it has given me a bit more confidence for the play-offs!
