Back in mid-October I rated the players on their season so far. This was probably just when the team were playing at their peak.
I thought I would rate the players that are likely to appear in the play-offs on the last 10 games or so. It looks a bit of a worry. Early season scores in brackets. Cassilla 5 - Blunders of late, and no 'worldys' Ayling 7 (6) - Seems to be getting back to his best. Jansson 6 (7) - A bit more error prone. Cooper 6 (7) - Less assured of late Dallas 5 (3) - Out of position at left back, but less likely to do get into trouble than Alioski Berardi 5 (7) - Not really impressed since injury Phillips 7.5 (7) - Carried on great work, perhaps was worthy of 7.5 earlier too. Clarke 4 - Looking like a boy in men's football Klich 7 (7) - Back firing after a lean spell Forshaw 5.5 (6) - Not done enough to make him an automatic choice Hernandez 6 (7) - A bit out of sorts lately Roberts 6 (6) - Some good work, but missed some nailed-on chances Harrison 5 (5) - Working hard but no end product Roofe 4.5 (7) - Very poor since injury Bamford 4.5 - Lackadaisical finishing Alioski (inj) 5.5 (5) - Better at Left back than further forward Looking at that it is clear that for Leeds to progress, a number of the forward players need to get back to their early season form.
