Yes the first half and the beginning of the second half we moved the ball around but to no effect whatsoever, just back and forth and their defence just sat their happily and watched. Costa does look like he will offer something creatively going forward. White does look good going forward and Davis seemed solid to me. Phillips looked like a player distracted by contract negotiations, whether those negotiations are with Leeds, Villa, Newcastle, or Spurs etc. etc. I have no idea but his mind didn't really seem on the game. Harrison was the standout in the first game for me. Apparently a few fans at Guiseley giving Bamford a hard time which seems stupid. Give the lad a fresh start FFS and see if he can get going before you start slagging him off.
My guess is we're either going to walk this league or we are going to fall apart early doors and Bielsa will walk by Christmas. Can't see this being a mediocre season!
