Agree too.
We were much the better team and it had a feeling of the blades game last
season.
I thought they looked well organised with a bit of pace up front and I was
pleased with how we negates them, particularly stopping them from playing out
from the back.
What does concern me is that we didn’t force their keeper into a meaningful
save and we gave away a soft goal that originated from a corner that we
shouldn’t have conceded.
However, 6 games in, 13 points and only 3 goals conceded. If we repeat this
over the course of the season we’ll go up.
For me , Costa for Harrison and Eddie for Bamford next game. Both have played
better this year - I think Bamford’s all round game has been good , apart from
the finishing. Harrison has done well too but he can’t cross to save his life.
Costa in particular looks dangerous every time he comes on and needs to start.
Thought the defence were excellent for 89 minutes and Kalvin was superb.
I’ve slated Forshaw in the past but I’ve been impressed with him this season.
We look a lot more solid with him, Kalvin and Klich in the midfield. Happy to
be proved wrong! Dallas has played so well I don’t see Ayling necessarily
getting back in the team when fit.
I think today was one of those days that answers the question as to why Pablo
isn’t playing in the prem. When he plays well we win but I think he was a bit
off it today. Maybe that’s a recruitment option in jan - another creative
midfielder.
