I don't understand why we can't (and couldn't yesterday) have started with a back four of Douglas at left back, White and Ayling as center backs, and Dallas at right back (where he'd been playing really well this season). There was no need to jury rig everything in order to make Dallas an attacking central midfielder (!) when we had Roberts available. The penalty and sending off were terrible decisions, but Berardi gave the ref the opportunity to make them. I like the spirit Berardi brings, but it's hard to avoid the conclusion that he's a complete liability.
