Bielsa's plan is to have 2 players for each position, including those that he feels can play in more than 1 position. He thinks too many players not playing is disruptive to the team. That's what we have. Even if you think he's wrong which top centre halves would you want us to recruit, in view of the lack of finances?
As for Saturday, he admits he made mistakes, by not rearranging the formation in the first half. As gutwrenchingly horrible as I felt at the final whistle, I find that refreshing.
