Some claim he used the spanish word for black, negro or negrito when asking his defenders to mark the player, i.e., mark the black bloke. This would be enough to be deemed racist by the FA I think they have found the use of that spanish word racist in the past and punished players. If that's how he used it I would defend the club defending him. However, it seems a little suspect to me that Kiko would be speaking to his team mates in Spanish during a game. Well deserved for his performances and clean sheets but dodgy timing with racist abuse charge Just read Phil Hay on Forestieri case, like John Terry, he was acquitted in court but found guilty by FA due to the burden of proof being different ( beyond reasonable doubt as versus balance of probabilities) With Forestieri the victim reacted at the time and there was a huge brawl, with kiko first anyone knew was in post match interview and a cryptic question and answer, Lee Bowyer said at time he knew nothing Big worry for kiko is that after all investigations the same body who will hear the case (? different people?) found case to answer I hope the club are preparing for the worse behind the scenes IF guilty and in no way am I pre-judging it, he will get a minimum 6 game ban but the question will be should the club stick by him or sack him.
