I get both opinions on this.
I find myself shaking my head at times at the final pass and how we give the
ball away cheaply but then there's other times it's breathtaking how we can
break with pace and accuracy through crisp, quick pass and move football.
Sometimes it's the best I've seen at Leeds for a very long time.
and on a general note, I look forward to every Leeds game and this season more
than any before I firmly believe we are the best team with the best style of
play and we will get promotion.

I'm not suggesting we hoof it in the slightest. In fact, the total opposite.

The final pass is often poor and a lot of the short smaller ones go astray but
I don't really care. I like that we play football and, more often than not,
play it forward. I think the passes are quicker than some of the players
physically and we are sometimes over elaborate. Again, I don't really care. It
works.

There's a time for long passing, in fact a few recent goals have come from
that. It's part of the fast counter-attack.

I hate possession for possession's sake. Like the Barca of old, or Spain. We
don’t do that. It's more of a possession with purpose.

I don't know what game you were watching if what you took away for the
performance was this report, particularly that we "hoof it!!!"

592 passes 81% completion.  I think you have to take into account the type of
passes we are attempting, to feet or onto runners out out from the back under
pressure, doesn't always work, but almost always it’s a positive pass, rather
than just to get rid.

And when we do mis pass, we are onto it immediately and as often as not recover
the ball.  I just can't understand how people can slate our passing
(terrible/shocking/woeful), but it's probably down to my misfortune of not
being born in Yorkshire.

The thing that seems different this season - as it's gone on - is that it
doesn’t really matter who plays where, everyone else knows what to do and how.

The passing was pretty terrible at times but it tires the opposition out
mentally and physically and also I'd rather see us attempt passing than hoof
it, although there is a time and a place. I like that they try little flicks
and lay offs.

Even when we come under pressure - last 2-3 games, say - everyone seems
relatively comfortable, there's none of that panic we saw last season at times

Probably uncoincidentally, the 'Keeper has improved his catching a little but
his saves a lot more. His kicking has gone to shite but so what?

Maybe no more White in midfield...

Corners are terrible, stick to the short ones.
